Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with expertise in EHR application implementation to lead and manage complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale IT projects, particularly in the EHR domain. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage diverse teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and develop innovative solutions to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of EHR-related projects.
- Develop project documentation including business case workbooks, charters, schedules, and biennial operating plans.
- Lead requirements gathering, risk analysis, and project planning efforts.
- Develop and implement data migration and conversion strategies, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Oversee workflow analysis, design, and the development of SDLC artifacts.
- Manage vendor relationships and application migration processes.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Facilitate the optimization of operations and program functions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years managing multiple IT projects, with experience in implementing EHR applications or similar large systems.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as InterSystems Caché, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Jira, and other project management tools.
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Extensive experience in data migration, workflow analysis, and application implementation in the EHR domain.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
- Familiarity with HHSC federal and state processes, documentation, and project workflows.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
- Technical understanding of software architecture and cloud-based solutions.
